The Holiday Concert is almost upon us!
The Chromebook classwork I assigned on Friday (11/08/19) is counted as a quiz grade! If you have done it and turned it in via email, you have made a 100! If you turn it in late, it is 15 points off. If you did not do it at all, it is a 0 in your grade! If you have handwritten it on Friday, I will take it today for full credit. There will be an 8th & 7th Grade PLAYING TEST on the holiday music the WEEK BEFORE THANKSGIVING (Wed., Thurs., Fri.) for a GRADE and to determine CHAIR SEATING. I will have the sign up sheets and excerpts posted in class soon. ANNOUNCEMENT: Starting this week, students will not be allowed to go to the bathroom during class, as it disrupts the classroom and is unproductive. Students will have to go in between classes, and I will start class 2-3 minutes later to let the students have a chance to go to the bathroom. 7th Grade - PLAYING QUIZ (MONDAY 11/11): Dance of the Tumblers! This will take place in class. 6th Grade - We will be reviewing Adeste Fideles and Good King Wenceslas. - We will start Jingle Basses. - NOTE-READING QUIZ (TBA): This will be very short, and will be graded for accuracy on the D and A string notes, as well as G string. Please bring your Chromebooks!
